I had a major revelation this weekend

I had a major revelation this weekend.

It all started with listening to my body. Listening to the call to rest. Listening to the resistance that was building that made me feel like I didn’t want to do this work anymore.

What other entrepreneurs can relate to this? Loving your business so much but also sometimes wanting absolutely nothing to do with it. Being a business owner is truly a wild ride.

So I slowed down. I listened to my body. I rested. I didn’t push the work and instead did just enough to keep momentum going.

And finally, a realization hit me like a ton of bricks.

I’ve been only relaying one piece of the work I do with my community (that’s you!).

I’ve been focusing on the tangible and external results. For example, when describing the reason behind the importance of being a leader that prioritizes wellbeing I talk about lower turnover and burnout, better retention and engagement, increased productivity, and so on.

Which is great. That’s what we want! But what about how YOU feel?

Any insecurities we have turn into toxic leadership traits and is projected onto employees. Feeling insecure about your abilities and overcompensating by taking over your team’s projects? Toxic. Being a people pleaser and therefore sacrificing your own wellbeing for your team while not giving them feedback or holding them accountable? Toxic. Always feeling left out and therefore inserting yourself into every conversation in an overbearing way? Toxic. And also maybe Michael Scott.

The work I do is designed to bring these issues to the surface in order to make space for more productive and effective leadership practices. By creating more internal capacity and releasing thought patterns and behaviors that aren’t serving us, we begin to see real external results.

My work is at the crossroads of coaching and training. During our time together I am your biggest cheerleader while also holding you accountable and providing personalized training in leadership skills such as communication, decision making, feedback as tool for growth, becoming a visionary, and so much more.

My goal is to be there for you. Leadership can often feel so lonely without anyone to vent to or problem solve work issues with. My main priority when we work together is to support you while expanding your capacity.

Because truly, anything is possible.
